Submission of abstracts: February 4, 2024

TOPIC

The conference focuses on topics in Ethics of AI and empirical moral Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Interdisciplinary approaches drawing on philosophy, psychology, social computer science and law are encouraged.

The topics include, though are not limited to: Value alignment, trust in and reliance on AI, algorithmic bias and fairness, AI explainability, moral responsibility in CHI, autonomous systems in high-stakes contexts, normative criteria for RLHF [Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback], psychological relations with AI agents, and existential risk.

SUBMISSION

Please submit an anonymized abstract of 500 words (not including references) in PDF format on EasyChair. Papers should not be published yet. All submissions will be reviewed double-blind by the organizing team. Successful submissions will either be accepted as presentations or posters.

The anonymized submission should be sent to ethicsofaiconference@gmail.com by February 4. Please state your full name, title and affiliation in the body of the email.
