DESCRIPTION:
As medical professionals strive to use VR with accuracy: learn from three medical professionals using VR. VR in the Medical Field will be LA ACM SIGGRAPH’s June 8th event. Join us here at LA SIGGRAPH for a magical night where we show the bridge between medicine and technology. Featuring speakers:
John Leah and Andrew Melchoir are the Team from 3rd Space Agency. Their presentation covers work in virtual medical rooms and how that shapes how we communicate.
Daish Malani is the founder of Add Life Technologies. His Presentation is on Alto and how his Virtual Reality concept became a reality.
Greg Ruthenbeck’s presentation will be on volumetric data and image processing.

REGISTRATION:
The event is free for members and all, if you REGISTER WITH ZOOM before May 26. Then, registration is $5 for the event. REGISTER FOR FREE WITH ZOOM to attend until 26 May. After May 26 you will need to REGISTER AND PAY WITH ZOOM to attend. We always appreciate a donation or Chapter Membership to help cover our expenses.
You may JOIN the chapter for $40/year or DONATE for any amount. We accept online payments through PayPal.
Cancellations and Refunds: Event cancellations/refunds will be accepted according to the Chapter Policy. The deadline for receiving the request for this event is Sunday, 6 June 2021 at 6:30pm PDT (GMT-0700). Refunds are for $4. The remainder covers the Chapter’s expenses. Please email a request to paid-event.2021@la-siggraph.org with the date, time, and email address you used for payment.
