Call for Participation – A Telepresence Timeline

The International Society for Presence Research (ISPR; https://ispr.info) is creating a timeline of important developments related to telepresence.

Please participate by submitting your suggestions for items to be included in the timeline by using the short form here – the list of developments will be refined at the ISPR 2011 conference in Edinburgh, Scotland October 26-28 and installed on the ISPR web site after that.

We’ve divided telepresence-related developments into the categories of TECHNOLOGY, PUBLICATION, INSTITUTION, CULTURE and IDEA (see the form for details and examples).

Note that in addition to developments that have occurred, predictions for presence-related developments in the near and distant future are also encouraged!
