The International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia (MUM) is a leading annual international conference, which provides a forum for presenting the latest research results on mobile and ubiquitous multimedia. The conference brings together experts from both academia and industry for a fruitful exchange of ideas and discussion on future challenges, in a comfortable and effective single-track conference format.
The 25th International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Multimedia (MUM 2026) will be held in Glasgow, United Kingdom, December 2026. MUM 2026 is held in cooperation with ACM SIGCHI. The conference is currently being planned as an in-person event only. Still, the organization is continuously monitoring travel and health restrictions and may reassess the possibility for virtual or hybrid options.
In addition to the peer-reviewed accepted papers, the conference program will also include keynote presentations, posters, and demos, among other tracks. The conference will also have a co-located doctoral school. The technical program will be complemented by several social events to facilitate informal discussions and networking among the conference attendees and invited guests.

CALL FOR POSTERS AND DEMOS
The MUM Posters and Demos track provides an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to share early-stage, ongoing, or experimental work with the MUM community in an interactive setting. We welcome contributions presented as posters (summarising work in progress, preliminary findings, novel research directions, or provoking position statements) or demos (showcasing working systems, prototypes, applications, or research projects). Demos may be accompanied by a poster as part of the demo setup, in which case the submission should describe this in the Presentation section below. Submissions may describe preliminary research results that have not yet been fully designed, implemented, or tested but show great promise; summarise small-scale studies; introduce novel, challenging, or provoking research directions; or present interactive artefacts that attendees can engage with hands-on. MUM maintains an open and experimental attitude: whether you have built a mobile app, designed a new device, created an interactive system, developed innovative software, or have early findings you’d like to discuss, we want to see your work, play with it, and talk about it.
