We are pleased to share a call for our topical collection on “Responsible AI in Healthcare: Bridging Technical Innovation and Multi-Stakeholder Needs” in Discover Artificial Intelligence (Springer Nature, SJR 2024: 0.876, H-Index: 15, Q1 in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition).
This collection brings together researchers, clinicians, engineers, ethicists, and policymakers working at the intersection of AI and healthcare. We are particularly interested in work that moves beyond proof-of-concept to address real-world deployment, multi-stakeholder validation, and responsible governance.
We Welcome Work From
Whether your background is in computer science, biomedical engineering, clinical research, HCI, ethics, or health policy — if your work engages with AI in healthcare contexts, this collection is for you. We especially encourage submissions that:
- Present empirical studies with clinicians, patients, or caregivers
- Propose or evaluate frameworks for responsible AI in clinical settings
- Address underrepresented populations or equity concerns in health AI
- Combine technical contributions with human-centered or ethical perspectives
