Passionate about AI? Do you have unique insights, fresh perspectives, or thoughtful observations on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and the field of Communication? Have you had experiences researching this topic that you believe offer valuable lessons or observations for the NCA community? spectra invites you to share your expertise and perspectives on this important subject.

We welcome all submissions on issues of Artificial Intelligence and the field of Communication that are relevant to NCA membership, including essays, opinion pieces, and articles written in an accessible tone and format (original work from 1,000 to 2,000 words).

As a publication of the National Office, spectra strives to follow both the NCA strategic plan and the IDEA strategic plan, especially recommendations from the latter that recommend challenging structural barriers to entry for all members of the association. As such, we strongly encourage submissions from marginalized and often unheard communities of scholars, educators, and professionals.
