Accepted papers must be presented orally in English at VS-Games 2018. This event uses a triple-blind reviewing approach, so please be sure to remove all personal data (such as authors, affiliations, etc.) from your submission. References to your own work should be made in the third person to maintain anonymity. Reviewers are asked to keep confidential all materials sent to them for evaluation. Non-anonymous submissions will be rejected without review.

VS-Games has three tracks, full, short and poster, with corresponding lengths of 8, 4, and 2 pages. We ask authors to ensure that their paper fits within the specified length for their submission track, including references. Authors are encouraged to upload supplementary material (e.g. multimedia) if such material facilitates understanding of the work.

All authors will be notified of paper acceptance by 1st June 2018. There is no rebuttal process. Successful submissions will be asked to review carefully their paper and make any minor modifications requested by reviewers, before uploading the camera ready version by 20th June 2018. All accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion to IEEE Xplore.

For any questions regarding submission please email the conference chairs:

The VS Games 2018 Steering Committee invites proposals for the Workshop Program to be held along with the technical conference. VS Games 2018 workshops will provide a meeting for presenting novel ideas in a less formal and possibly more focused way than the conference itself. Their aim is to stimulate and facilitate active exchange, interaction, and comparison of approaches, methods, and ideas related to specific topics, both theoretical and applied, in the general area of Virtual Worlds and Serious Games. Members of all areas of the Virtual Worlds and Games communities are invited to submit workshop proposals for review. Workshops on global challenges, applications or on new and emerging topics are particularly encouraged. Workshops can vary in length, but most will be half a day in duration. If desired by the organizers, workshop proceedings can be published through IEEE Xplore. Attendance of workshops will be included in the registration fee for the main VS Games 2018 conference.
