Call for Papers
The 3rd International Conference on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics (SALENTO AVR 2016)

The purpose of the SALENTO AVR 2016 is to provide a discussion forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world about the latest research findings, ideas, developments, applications and realizations on virtual and augmented reality, 3D visualization and computer graphics in the areas of medicine, cultural heritage, arts, education, entertainment, industrial and military sectors.
SALENTO AVR 2016 solicits original contributions in the topic areas reported below; the sub-topics list is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by them. Of particular interest will be papers that combine technologies from two or more of these areas.
We invite electronic submissions of full or short papers for oral or poster presentation. The contributions will be carefully evaluated by external reviewers and program committee taking into account originality, significance, technical soundness and clarity of exposition.

SUBMISSIONS
SALENTO AVR 2016 accepts two types of paper: full papers (10–20 pages), and short papers (6-10 pages).
- Full papers should be mainly focused on research, applications or systems describing results that contribute to advances in state-of-the-art software, hardware, algorithms, interaction or human-factors.
- Short papers should be mainly focused on work-in-progress, achievements of initial research, projects in early stages of development, case studies, etc. Accepted short papers will be published in the conference proceedings and presented at the conference as poster.

Notification of acceptance: March 21, 2015
Camera-ready submission (*): March 31, 2016
(*) The payment of the early registration fee is mandatory for the publication of the paper
