The rapidly expanding immersive media audience is confused by the plethora of forms and content becoming available. It desperately needs a common vocabulary, and ways to recognize quality in an immersive work. This emerging public needs someone to untangle the varieties of modern immersive media, and explain the wide range of techniques that today’s creators are testing and experimenting with—It needs to know, above all, if a particular immersive work is worth its time. Join us this week as Tom Furness chats with the founders and creators of The Look Club—three amazing women pioneers of immersive media, two of which will be joining in the conversation—Eve Weston and Jessica Kantor.

The Look Club was created as a place to discover and discuss immersive media using a consistent set of criteria. Hear from these incredible women as they take a deeper dive into how they discover and discuss these works, use and develop consistent vocabulary through their extensive background and knowledge, and learn more about their published taxonomy of points-of-view, from first person to third and beyond, to use in classifying these new forms.
