FREELANCE CONTENT PRODUCER

OVERVIEW
The Immersive Experience Network has been set up as a catalyst to support creators making new work, developing new audiences and growing financially sustainable creative companies.
Our strategy is built around:
- Building Community,
- Facilitating Knowledge Sharing & Education for creators,
- Commercial Data Collection, Analysis and Publication.
We have recently secured an Arts Council England grant to create the UK’s first free, web- based educational library to strengthen the immersive arts sector – sharing knowledge, improving access, increasing diversity, & raising awareness of immersive genres as art forms among creative professionals & the public by creating a series of knowledge sharing articles, podcasts and videos to support the growth of the live immersive sector in the UK.
We are recruiting for a content producer to help us develop and deliver this program of work. Our vision is that the project will involve articles, interviews and recordings made with Immersive Experience creators who are willing to share their expertise and experience with the community.

FREELANCE WRITERS & CONTRIBUTORS
We are also putting out an open call to Immersive Experience creators who might consider contributing to articles or participating in podcasts around our 3 main content themes of creative development, production & operations, and commercial. We have a modest budget to commission work so if you are interested then contact us on this page.

We are putting an open call out to the Immersive creator community for people who would be willing to write articles about their work, or participate in discussions or podcasts which we can then publish to the wider community.
Our aim is that all our published content will be informative and contain actionable insights into the way immersive experiences are developed, created and commercially managed that will help other creators make better sustainable work. We are looking for contributors who are willing to be open and share their learnings and processes, as well as the mistakes they’ve made to help create better work. We’re not looking for anyone seeking self promotion or directly marketing their products or services.
Our funding allows us to pay small commissions for creators depending on the scale and scope of the work they create for us. The funding runs from December to March and will initially explore content across the following 3 strands of creating immersive work.
- Creative development
- Operational & Production
- Commercial & funding
