Within the fields of Human-Computer Interaction and Human-Robot Interaction, the past few years have witnessed a strong upsurge of interest in the more personal aspects of human relationships with artificial partners. This is demonstrated well by the interest of the general public, coverage in print media, TV documentaries and feature films, but also within the academic community.

This topic is relevant now and increases year over year as artificial intelligence innovates and the sextech industry becomes more mainstream. There is a wide spectrum of interests and opinions on the subject matter, hence the academic disciplines in this field have grown exponentially.

This Congress facilitates the discussion points, is a platform to present emerging research and opens the conversation in a cross-disciplinary manner in fields of study such as, but not limited to:

Robot Emotions, Humanoid Robots, Clone Robots, Entertainment Robots, Robot Personalities, Teledildonics, Intelligent Electronic Sex Hardware, Robotics and Electronic Sex Startups

With approaches such as, but not limited to:

Gender/sex, Feminist and Intersectional, Affective, Psychological, Sociological, Sexological, Roboethics, Philosophical and Clinical

The International Congress on Love and Sex with Robots provides an excellent opportunity for academics and industry professionals to present and discuss their innovative work and ideas in an academic symposium.
