WINVR (The World Conference on INnovative Virtual Reality) 2011 will bring together international leaders from academia and industry to discuss state of the art research and practice in the use of Virtual Reality to solve industrial problems. The conference builds on the previous success of WinVR09 and WinVR10.
The WIN VR 2011 Scientific Programme Committee invite academics, researchers, engineers and students from around the world to submit Draft Papers for their consideration.
Over 30 conference sessions, including Plenary and Keynote speaker sessions, will be organised into tracks, focusing on innovative trends in Virtual Reality, and the application of Virtual Reality technologies and techniques in a range of situations.
Technical Tracks
The conference conference seeks original high quality papers in all areas of virtual, mixed and augmented reality and will be accepting submissions to the following technical tracks:
- TRK 1: New Trends in VR Technology for Industrial Applications
- TRK 2: VR for Product Development and Prototyping
- TRK 3: Virtual Reality and Cognition
- TRK 4: VR for Leading Edge and Emerging Applications
- TRK 5: Posters

Abstract and Full-Length Paper Submission
Authors are encouraged to submit an abstract and draft paper on the WINVR2011 website by January 24, 2011. No papers are to be submitted to the organisers; submissions will only be accepted via the conference website.
The Scientific Programme Committee will review all submitted Draft Papers and assign appropriate reviewers, according to the subject area. The papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Programme Committee, International Programme Committee and any other nominated reviewers. Based on reviewer recommendations, papers of significant merit will be forwarded to ASME’s Journal of Computing Information and Science in Engineering (JCISE) for further consideration.
