Join us on 13–14 November 2025 for the Creative Technology and Transformative Storytelling Symposium, hosted by the Centre for Transformative Media Technologies (CTMT) and the Virtual Creative Design Research Centre (VCD). This two-day event will feature:

• Work-in-progress presentations
• Lightning Talks
• Academic paper presentations
• Artefact exhibitions and showcases
• A roundtable discussion on creative technology and transformative storytelling

At CTMT, we explore the cultural, artistic, and socio-technological dimensions of media technologies and their impact on society. From film, television, and video games to virtual reality, robotics, and artificial intelligence, our research investigates how transformative media reshapes human engagement with the world.

VCD empowers creatives, technologists, and academics through interdisciplinary collaboration, cutting-edge technology, and meaningful industry partnerships. The centre is at the forefront of digital design and immersive media innovation.

We welcome submissions from Early Career Researchers (ECRs) and Higher Degree Research (HDR/PhD) candidates. Industry keynote speakers will be announced closer to the date.
