Number and length of chapters and references:

The final number and length of chapters will obviously depend on many factors, but in consultation with the commissioning editor we envision a volume with 35 chapters, each approximately 6,000 words (i.e., 210,000 words), with a maximum of 75 references for each chapter. 

Content of section chapters:

Each chapter in these sections of the book will review academic and other literature in a specific application area and include examples (case studies) as well as specific advice based on research findings and personal experience regarding the design, use, and assessment of impact for immersive media in that area.
