CALL FOR PAPERS

We are inviting proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, virtual posters, or colloquia that address design through one of the following categories:

Theme 1: Design Education
Theme 2: Design in Society
Theme 3: Designed Objects
Theme 4: Visual Design
Theme 5: Design Management and Professional Practice
Theme 6: Architectonic, Spatial, and Environmental Design

2016 SPECIAL THEME: “Design Transforming Society”

CONFERENCE SUBMISSION DEADLINES

We welcome the submission of proposals to the conference at any time of the year before the final Late Proposal Deadline (see below). All proposals will be reviewed within two to four weeks of submission. The dates below serve as a guideline for proposal submission based on our corresponding registration deadlines.

Regular Proposal Deadline – 25 November 2015
Late Proposal Deadline – 25 January 2016

THE DESIGN PRINCIPLES & PRACTICES COLLECTION

All presenters are invited to submit written articles for publication to the fully refereed Design Principles & Practices Collection. Articles may be submitted by in-person and virtual participants as well as Community Members.
