Call for Proposals

iscMME 2015 welcomes the submission of a wide range of Sci-Arts research with particular focus on Music, Multimedia and Electronics. Submissions fall into four categories: (i) papers & presentations; (ii) demonstrations or installations (iii) performances. Details and requirements for each category are specified below. All submissions will be reviewed by the iscMME programme committee.

Proposals for categories (i), (ii), and (iii) should be an abstract (500 words maximum) detailing the research. Proposals for categories (ii) and (iii) should include technical requirements. All proposals should be submitted via easychair at: http://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iscmme2015

iscMME themes include but are not limited to: Trans-domain mapping, multi-sensory systems, interactive multimedia system, multimodel interface, instrument augmentation, gesture analysis, networked and distributed performance, digital audio processing and analysis, technology-enhanced education, music creativity, computational musicology, machine perception, physical computing, algorithmic composition, live electronics, live coding, laptop performance, electroacoustic and acousmatic composition, digital aesthetic, music imaging, bio-music, human/technology interfaces, new musical interfaces, and scientific research in music.

Important dates:

Submissions: Open
Deadline for submission: 1st May 2015
Notification of acceptance: 19th May 2015
Camera ready deadline for final papers, media and all performance material: 7th June 2015
